The
DSi XL is a larger more eyesight friendly version of the Nintendo
DSi. Compared to the old DS Lite, the DSi XL screens are 93%
bigger. Although the screen size has been increased, the DSi
XL still retains the same pixel resolution of the Nintendo DSi.
Normally games machines shrink in size, but due to Nintendo's diverse demographics they have sought to make the DS platform more accessible for all age groups, young and old. The larger form factor and larger stylus will be most welcomed by those with less than perfect eyesight.
